I feel very lucky today, as I do every year once I’ve met most of my wedding couples for the year.  They are all so lovely and a perfect fit for me and my natural style of photography.  Claire and Anthony are no exception to this – we met recently for their pre wedding shoot at a favourite place of mine, the old Bowes railway line, and they really let their hair down, enjoying it from start to finish.  The session was a breeze and I think we were both surprised at how the time flew, I could have carried on photographing them for hours.

Claire and Anthony are one of the last couples to get married at Close House this September and what a perfect day it will be x

‘Anthony and I met on a bowling evening arranged by friends. We soon realised it was a set up, but have been inseparable ever since.

One weekend, Anthony whisked me away for a surprise weekend at Rudding Park in Harrogate. When we got to our hotel room, there were flowers and champagne on ice. As I admired the roses, Anthony dropped to one knee, pulled a box from his bag and asked me to be his wife. I immediately said yes.’
