What a wedding to end on before my maternity leave. I always knew Kate and David’s wedding was going to be an amazing day and although Kate and I only chatted via emails I really got to know and love her. They are both such kindhearted souls and I knew this from Kate’s very first email. She had seen my images as I’d photographed her friend Andrea’s wedding in 2012, and although I wasn’t sure I would be able to photograph her wedding, she wanted to stick with me, as she was adamant that I would be her wedding photographer. So it was very fitting that Kate and David’s wedding was my last before I finish to have a baby and I have to say quite emotional for me…. hey, I was 37 weeks pregnant!
Kate and David got married at the spectacular Eshott Hall in Northumberland. one of my favourite venues in the North East. Everything was just perfect, as I knew it would be. They had picked gorgeous soft pastel colours to flow throughout their wedding. The only thing that you can never guarantee is the weather but even after a cloudy start the sun did come out for them. They also picked two of my favourite wedding suppliers, Helen at Bels Flowers (who’s flowers I can never stop taking photographs of), and Bernadett at Dreamworld Cakes (who’s creations are both stunning and yummy). With all of my favourite combinations, colours and an adorable couple I was in photography heaven all day.
Thank you so much Kate and David for asking me to capture your beautiful wedding day. You both looked amazing and I’ll never forget it x
As I said, I’m signing of for a little while whilst I have my baby and get to grips with motherhood, so do bear with me. I’ll be sure to post a couple of pictures of our new arrival in due course. I’m so excited! xx
