Yorkshire Fine Art Wedding Photographer – I was absolutely thrilled to visit the pretty village of Lund in East Yorkshire last weekend, for Amy and Phil’s stunning English country garden wedding. Amy came across me by chance when looking through the wedding blog – Brides Up North and when she told me about her plans for her wedding day I jumped at the opportunity to be her wedding photographer. There is nothing quite like having a wedding at home in your parents garden, full of such happy childhood memories. I think Amy had been dreaming of this day since she was a little girl. Even the church was ideally located just a 2 minute walk from the house. Everything came together perfectly for the day. Lots of hard work in the garden had paid off and when I called in the day before the bridesmaids and Amy where putting together some gorgeous country garden flower arrangements for the tables in the marquee. Amy’s style was very ethereal with an effortless wedding dress by Kate Halfpenny and wearing her hair down. I do love a bride that wears her hair down on the day, I have to say! Her bouquet was kept to simple greens and whites with the incredible scent of Lily of the Valley. The sun shone, the vibe was very relaxed and everyone had an absolutely amazing time. Such a wonderful wedding to photograph in yorkshire. Congratulations Amy and Phil, it was a pleasure.
